Spot Categories
Categories included in the entry forms exist only to facilitate a more efficient judging process. All single entries are placed into categories, side by side with other similar types of products or services and then screened within their respective class
context. Awards will not be presented to individual categories. For details of the specific awards go to Awards.

Television
(Single) Television advertisements of 5 – 60 seconds duration, containing both motion picture and audio elements, that clearly promote a brand, product, or service. Submissions that exceed 60 seconds duration will be qualified for entry on a case-by-case basis.
(Campaign) A series of no more than 3 Television advertisements of 5 – 60 seconds duration, containing both motion picture and audio elements, that clearly promote a brand, product, or service. Submissions that exceed 60 seconds duration will be qualified for entry on a case-by-case basis.

Online Broadcast
Advertisements containing both motion picture and audio elements that were designed to appear on the internet or on a mobile device (cellphone, smartphone, PDA) and that clearly promote a brand, product, or service. Examples of this category are videos, movies, and webisodes. (Please note that an explanation video is required for any entry over 5 minutes’ duration, in addition to the original entry.)

Integrated Broadcast Campaigns
An integrated broadcast campaign consists of a mandatory television element, along with an online broadcast element (please refer to the previous categories for definition of online broadcast and television).
