Awards

All eligible commercials entered will compete for the following awards:

BESSIES FINALISTS, acknowledged with a Finalist Certificate.

GOLD SPOT, acknowledged with a Gold Spot Award.

BEST OF SHOW, acknowledged with either a Best of Show Single Bessies Trophy or Best of Show Campaign Bessies Trophy.

Gold Spot and Best of Show winners are also recognized as part of Canada's Bessies Show Reel.

CRAFT AWARDS will be awarded for excellence in specific television advertising creative and production disciplines, as determined by the judging panel.

In the judging process, all commercials awarded Finalist status advance to compete equally for Gold Spot recognition. Gold Spot Award winners then compete equally for Best of Show Bessies Trophy status.

JUDGING PANEL: The Bessies judging panel is comprised of nine experts drawn from the Canadian advertising community, including representatives from both the agency and production sides. Panelists are selected by the judging chair and approved by the Television Bureau of Canada.
